What is the NFT Authentication Process?
Disclaimer: This process is new, and far from streamlined, feel free to make merge requests as we build out this process together. This process can be accomplished on any blockchain by utilizing tools in their respective ecosystems. This process is not technical and has allowed Tezos Israel (the compilers of this process) to accomplish many projects.
What is this?
This NFT Authentication Process is a process anyone can use to authenticate and create NFTs for events as certificates, prize giveaways, souvenirs after events and membership/rewards cards. The documentation in the following pages is for web2 professionals looking to verify documents through NFTs. This process is used to allow any entity to establish legitimacy as the main and only creator of a given NFT collection (files), mint those NFTs and then distribute them to the respective audience. To better understand this concept, go to the Use Cases section and read about it more in depth in Solution section.
Some Background
Who are we?
Tezos Israel is a blockchain innovation lab based in Tel Aviv serving the Israeli ecosystem in educating, training, and onboarding Tezos blockchain technology. We work with our partners to understand the potential advantages of Tezos, and through our R&D center create new innovative ways for their practical business use cases. The ultimate goal to cultivate the Tezos ecosystem, Tezos Israel organizes developer workshops, integrates Tezos technology into Israeli startups and corporations, provides tools and content for the global ecosystem, and more.
The people from the Tezos Israel team involved in putting this process together and implementing it is Elie Terdjman, Adam Shinder, Benny Attar, and Samuel Mukamal.
Why did we start this?
As integrators of Tezos in Israel, various entities in the Israeli hi-tech ecosystem contacted us about doing NFTs for their respective audiences. As NFTs began to gain traction and Tezos became more dominant in the NFT space, people's interest to utilize NFTs in their communities increased. These people reached out to Tezos Israel for build out their visions.
To accomplish these NFT airdrops, we decided on the following approach and have been using it for many months. This process is now documented in the following pages.
We have used this process in NFT drops, certificates, event giveaways and more. Some examples of who has received their NFTs from this system:
Tech12 - Large tech publication
CPA Union of Israel
MBA College of Management
Bat Yam Municipality Public School Blockchain Olympics program
Biotech startup in Tel Aviv
