Once you have established the wallet that will be conducting the minting as done in the previous section, the NFTs will now be minted through this wallet. In this example, we are assuming that different NFTs will be minted. If you want multiple copies of the same NFT, you can use a standard minter and mint multiple editions.
To mint multiple different NFTs in a batch, we will be using hic.af.
Connect your Kukai Wallet with the platform by selecting "Sync Account"
2. Once your wallet is synced, you can then drop in all the files you would like turned into NFTs into the main square in the middle labelled, "Select or drop your files here".
The #{i}
text displayed while setting the common metadata is used to index between numbers and give each NFT a unique number.
Test Input:
Name: Certificate #{i}
Description: This is a test certificate.
Editions: 1
Tags: null
Royalties: 10% //this section doesn't really matter for certificates because they won't be for sale
Test Output:
Your wallet now owns the NFTs, under the projects official wallet. You can view these NFTs under any Tezos based NFT marketplace when you connect your wallet.
3. Once the images are downloaded, you can change the title, description, editions, tags, and royalties. To change each NFT individually, you can click on the button to edit.
To edit all of them together, select the button on the bottom lefthand corner. This selection will attach the same information to all of the NFTs. This attached data is called metadata.
4. Select the button on the bottom right corner. It may take a while based on how many images uploaded and the size of the metadata. During this time, hic.af is preparing the transactions and downloading the images to IPFS.
5. Click on the Kukai Wallet tab asking you to confirm the transaction.
